High Fens, Eupen
During my internship from the autumn of 2017 until the end of winter in 2018, I spent 6 months in this beautiful part of Belgium. Ever since, I try to go there once in a while for some fresh air and a nice hike.
27th of August, 2022
On my way to Aachen, I parked my car in Eupen for a short walk in the Eifel. I was lucky to meet the High Fens, dressed in an elegant robe of mist - whilst the rest of Belgium was suffering from unapologetic heat.
Equipment: Hasselblad 500 CM, Kodak Tri-X (iso 400), ID-11 chemistry (stock), red filter. Warm tint added digitally.

December 2021 and summer
In December, I had the genius idea to go to the High Fens and try to walk all the way to Monschau. (Hint: I didn’t succeed). As it was getting ever darker, I even tried some long exposures - which turned out better than I had anticipated.
